iResolve™  is a boutique arbitration, corporate law and alternative legal solutions (ALS) service provider with a focus on corporate, insolvency, employment, technology, IPRs and banking disputes.

The firm’s primary goal is the effective management of legal risks for corporations and entities it represents, resolution of client’s disputes and the development of ADR as a field of endeavor beneficial to the Tanzanian legal and economic environment and to provide for appropriate alternatives to both the public and private sectors in Tanzania. Our arbitration practice also includes advising clients and representing them in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including negotiations, mediation or other forms of ADR.

At iResolve™ we don’t rely on the standard industry solutions. Instead, we look beyond the expected. We work as a team and search for more creative and innovative solutions to apply to dispute resolution and commercial litigation.

Our web-based Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) center is the first innovation of its kind in Tanzania.

Prior to establishing the practice in 2014, I was on the client side of the fence for over 10 years as in-house corporate counsel at Stanbic Bank (Standard Bank Group) and National Bank of Commerce (a member of Barclays Africa).Throughout this time, I searched for the standards that have now become core pillars of our mission – Commercially Savvy, Innovative and Low-Cost legal services.

Ms. Kimei is an advocate, arbitrator and accredited commercial mediator and dispute resolution specialist who specializes in providing corporate and commercial legal support, domestic and international arbitration,commercial mediation and dispute management. She has considerable knowledge of the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators, National Construction Council Tanzania, ICC and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules on both Arbitration and Mediation. She has acted as counsel in arbitrations as well as arbitral secretary assisting arbitral tribunals in numerous arbitration matters.

Her approach is results-oriented, both in terms of problem solving and in terms of party satisfaction. She focuses to create awareness of the use of alternative means to resolve disputes.
